I know many Chinese people are very smart about evading restrictions on those tools, but it&#039;s a dicier position when you&#039;re in the country on a visa, and of course many citizens aren&#039;t willing to take those risks, either. I look at the hobbles the Chinese (and North Korean--to the extreme!) governments are putting on their citizens, and I wonder if they&#039;re thinking about the long-term repercussions. But then I look at what California is doing to its educational system, libraries, etc., and I know there&#039;s very little thought going into it. Some panic here, some greed there, some fear of change over there, some genuine lack of resources over there, and massive short-sightedness all over the place.

This is the biggest tesl market, and they are missing out on the wonderful developments in online teaching (or &#039;language guidance&#039;).
...plus, I feel sorry for myself as well, cos I can&#039;t use most web 2.0 functions either!
I have managed to get the WAVE on my website tho ;0)
